How We Review Affiliates
We review information and documentation relevant to the services an Affiliate says it offers. Participating Affiliates may operate fixed-wing aircraft, support commercial-airline medical travel and medical escort, or offer more than one service. A listing is not approval of each service or a quality ranking, score, or endorsement.
Our role
BookMediFly is a platform for requesting medical transportation options from participating Affiliates. Each Affiliate decides whether and how to respond and is responsible for its own offered services. BookMediFly does not operate aircraft or deliver transportation. For an aircraft trip, ask which organization will actually operate the aircraft.
Documentation we review
Affiliates submit information and documentation when joining. We review what is applicable to their declared role and services; not every document below applies to every Affiliate.
Aircraft authority, where applicable
When an Affiliate operates aircraft, we review the operating-authority documentation provided for that role, including FAA Part 135 documentation where applicable to U.S. fixed-wing operations. A non-aircraft Affiliate is not presented as a Part 135 operator.
Affiliate-attested insurance
Affiliates self-attest to insurance applicable to their role and services. Certificates may be requested as supporting evidence, but coverage is not represented as independently verified by BookMediFly. Confirm current coverage and limits for a particular trip directly with the Affiliate.
Accreditation documentation reviewed when provided
When an Affiliate provides applicable accreditation records — such as CAMTS, NAAMTA, or EURAMI — we review the submitted documentation. Accreditation is shown separately from participation.
Affiliate-submitted service details
Services, service areas, and descriptions come from Affiliates. Fleet details appear only when listed on an aircraft-related profile. A service declaration does not establish availability, operating authority, or approval for that service.
What documentation review does not mean
Reviewing documentation or recording an Affiliate's insurance attestation is not an endorsement and not a ranking. BookMediFly does not certify, guarantee, endorse, rank, broker, dispatch, operate, insure, medically evaluate, or control Affiliates.
A listing does not place one Affiliate above another or promise price, availability, safety outcomes, or medical suitability for a particular trip. We take reasonable steps to review submitted information, but records can be incomplete, contain errors, or change after review. No review catches every issue or independently verifies every claim. An Affiliate's insurance self-attestation is not independent verification by BookMediFly. Confirm current details directly with the Affiliate before booking.
What Affiliates remain responsible for
- Describing their services and role accurately, including whether they operate aircraft or coordinate with another organization.
- Maintaining insurance and any licenses, qualifications, or accreditation applicable to their services.
- For aircraft operators, maintaining the applicable operating authority, aircraft, crew, and flight compliance; FAA Part 135 applies where required for their U.S. operations.
- For an Affiliate involving another aircraft operator, identifying the actual operating organization and confirming its applicable authority and arrangements.
- Confirming patient needs, staffing, pricing, scheduling, and the terms of the service they agree to provide.
Questions to ask before booking
- Do your own research and independently check details important to your decision; ask the Affiliate what it will provide and who will provide it.
- For an aircraft trip, identify the actual aircraft operator and confirm its current authority directly with that operator and, when available, the relevant regulator.
- For commercial-airline medical travel or escort, ask who provides the escort, what support is included, and which airline arrangements are needed.
- Ask about insurance coverage, limits, and any accreditation applicable to your specific trip.
- Confirm staffing, equipment or travel arrangements for the patient's needs, plus timing and availability.
- Confirm pricing, inclusions, and payment terms in writing before proceeding.
Documentation reviewed at onboarding is not a guarantee for a specific trip. Resolve unanswered questions directly with the Affiliate before transportation is confirmed. How we review Affiliates.
Why we use documentation-based language
We describe the documents reviewed for an Affiliate's applicable role, not a guarantee about every service it lists. An aircraft authority document is relevant to the aircraft operator; it does not make a Commercial Assist / Medical Escort Affiliate an aircraft operator. Review the Affiliate's profile, ask questions, and confirm the details that matter to your trip before deciding.
